My main focus on your wedding day is to take beautiful photographs of you, your family and friends and to capture events naturally as they unfold. I’m experienced enough not to worry about the weather, at our pre-wedding meeting I might suggest that you have some wellies and brollies on hand just in case and if we need them then don’t worry, it’s all part of your day and can make for some pretty wonderful photographs.
Of course getting lovely photographs is easier in lovely locations and I’m really lucky to live on the doorstep of a number of incredibly beautiful wedding venues.
The Ashes Exclusive Country House Barn Wedding Venue
It has been my privilege to regularly shoot weddings at The Ashes since it opened in 2008 and I absolutely love it. The Ashes has so many fabulous spots for taking photographs, the lake and pond are stunning and the natural warmth of the stonework works so well whether we’re shooting inside or out.
The Three Horseshoes
This fabulous inn and country hotel sits at the foot of the Roaches, a stunning rock formation on the edge of The Peak District National Park, beloved by climbers and photographers alike! I love The Three Horseshoes as invariably both the groom and his ushers and the bridal party are staying at the hotel and so I can easily capture all the excitement of the wedding day preparations.
Heaton House Farm
With an abundance of incredible outdoor wedding photography opportunities this stunning barn wedding venue mixes old with new beautifully. Its interiors offer a variety of contemporary and rustic backdrops, making it easy for me to take some exquisite photographs of you and your loved ones.
Crewe Hall
This architecturally stunning Grade I Listed Hall is magnificent. With stunning indoor and outdoor wedding photography locations it’s a dream wedding venue for a wedding photographer and I love working with couples who are getting married at Crewe Hall.
