2018 Wedding Photography Review

Well, what a wonderful year 2018 has been! It’s been such a fabulous time to be a Staffordshire Wedding Photographer as I’ve had the opportunity to work at some stunning new Staffordshire and Cheshire venues, as well as meeting a whole host of lovely couples with a great story to tell…

See some of my photos above which are particular highlights of mine or head to the gallery to view the full range. From the stunning shot of Irene and Dave wandering the glorious fields at Heaton House Farm to the gorgeous laughter and smiles of Jen and Andy at The Ashes Wedding Barn, it’s been incredibly exciting.

But, one of the most wonderful highlights of my year has to just be the huge personalities and different stories my couples have to tell. Whether they are childhood sweethearts or they met on the other side of the globe, I love to get to know their story and how they came to be on this journey to their big day. And it’s this unique story they have which needs to be told through the images I capture on their special wedding day. Those secret squeezes of the hand for encouragement, the cheeky stolen kiss under stars, the laughter and joy during the speeches and the pure emotion and love as they say ‘I do’. It’s all about ensuring the personality, the story and the love is captured in those wedding album pictures.

I know I may be biased too, but I do believe that Staffordshire wedding venues are amongst some of the finest and most beautiful in the whole country. As a photographer, I am blessed with gorgeous scenery, perfect secret spots and stunning backdrops – It’s a photographer’s paradise! From The Three Horseshoes in Leek with the amazing views across the Peak District and The Roaches to the grand structure of the all new Styal Lodge, I’ve been able to capture the love of my couples in glorious settings.

2019 is set to be another exciting year for Jane Gilbert Wedding Photography as I will be working with more lovely local couples. I do still have some availability during 2019 too, so if you are lucky enough to get engaged over the festive period, please do get in touch! We can grab a coffee and chat more about how I can capture your wedding day perfectly with my 20 years’ experience and passion for perfect pictures.
